🧪 Beta programme · small on purpose

Run tomorrow’s ArthPulse today.

The beta build is where every new feature lands first — usually weeks before it reaches the Play Store, sometimes months. It’s for people who are comfortable sideloading an APK, curious enough to poke at rough edges, and generous enough to tell us what they find.

What you get

Early access, and a say in what ships.

🚀

Features first

New parsing, new analytics, new screens — the beta line ships continuously while the Play build moves in careful, reviewed steps.

🔁

Updates itself

The beta build has its own updater. When a new version is out it tells you and installs it — you never have to come back to this page.

🗣️

A direct line

Feedback from Settings goes straight to the person who wrote the code. Small programme, real replies, and your reports genuinely move the roadmap.

🧬

Experimental corners

Things still being proven — extra import paths, deeper insights — are switched on here long before they are judged ready for everyone.

🤝

Lives next to the real app

It installs as a separate app, so you can run the beta and the Play build side by side and fall back whenever you like.

🔒

Same privacy promise

Beta or not: your data is yours, never sold, never shared. The Privacy Policy applies here exactly as it does to the stable app.

Honest fit check

Is the beta for you?

There is no wrong answer — the Play build is the same app, just steadier. Pick the one that matches how you like your software.

✅ You’ll love it if…

  • Sideloading doesn’t scare you. You know what “install unknown apps” means and you’re happy to grant it once.
  • You like being early. A half-finished feature is interesting to you rather than annoying.
  • You’ll say something. A one-line “this SMS parsed wrong” is worth more to us than a hundred silent installs.
  • You’re curious how it works. Beta builds expose more of the machinery.

🙂 Stick with the Play build if…

  • You want it to just work. Entirely reasonable — that is what the stable line is for.
  • You’d rather not sideload. Play handles installing and updating for you.
  • Rough edges bother you. A beta occasionally ships a bug we haven’t caught yet.

Grab the APK

This is the very same file the beta app fetches when it updates itself, so you always get the current build — never a stale copy someone forgot to replace.

Three minutes

Installing it

1

Download on your phone

Open this page on the Android device itself and tap the button above. Your browser will ask you to confirm the download — that is expected for an APK.

2

Allow this one install

Tap the downloaded file. Android offers to let your browser install apps — grant it, install, and you can switch the permission straight back off afterwards.

3

Sign in and go

Same account as the Play app and the web dashboard. Grant SMS access so it can read your bank alerts, and your transactions start appearing on their own.

⚠️ Two things worth knowing before you tap

Google Play Protect will warn you before installing an app that did not come from the Play Store. That warning is about the source, not the file — it appears for every sideloaded APK there has ever been. Continue if you are happy to; if you’d rather not, the Play build is right there and you lose nothing but a few weeks of lead time.

The beta and the Play app are separate installs. Switching between them means signing in again — your transactions live on your account rather than in the app, so nothing is lost either way.

The deal

What we’d love back.

No forms, no quotas, no NDA. Just this:

Tell us when a transaction is wrong

Amount off, wrong merchant, wrong category, a message that should have been ignored and wasn’t. Correcting it in the app already teaches the system — but telling us which message did it lets us fix the pattern for everyone.

Tell us when something feels clumsy

“I couldn’t find X” and “this took too many taps” are proper bug reports. Design feedback from someone using their own real money data is the hardest kind to get.

Tell us what you wish it did

A surprising amount of what is in the app today started as one beta tester saying “it’d be nice if…”. Say the thing.

How do I send it?

Easiest is in-app: Settings → Feedback. It arrives tagged with your build, so we know exactly which version you saw it on. Or email [email protected].

Can I leave the beta?

Any time, and nothing is held hostage. Uninstall the beta app, install the Play build, sign in — your data is on your account, not in the app. No exit interview.

Come break things with us.

You get the features early. We get to ship them right. Fair trade.
